One of the most beautiful beaches I have visited. Excellent wildlife, sunsets, and friendly staff. Would stay again.

Really cool experience hiking into Playa Brava and sleeping by the beach. Although I’m sure the hammocks were a unique experience, having the bungalow PLUS a hammock offered a few more conveniences (i.e. privacy, a bathroom, and your own beach chairs). We stored our luggage near the Calabazo entrance and hiked the entire way (if you like to hike, it’s not that bad, just hot). This entrance was SO much quieter and we loved it. The next day we hiked 2hrs to the more popular beaches and exited though El Zanio. Again, this way was so much quieter and more enjoyable that just doing El Zanio and the more well known spots.

Amazing huts by the beach. Very confortable for the six of us. Less touristic place then the other beach in the Tayrona Park. Best place to relax and do some beautiful hike.

I stayed in one of the cabanas. I wish I had booked two nights instead of one because it took me hours to hike there and I didn't really get to spend time there to enjoy the place. It is quiet and relaxing - also a waterfall nearby you can walk to if you have time. Because it's so hot, you will want to leave early to hike in/out. There were 4 single dorm style beds and one large probably queen bed in this cabana. All had mosquito nets for the sandflies. Hammocks and private bathroom. The lodging was nice.

Wow. Just wow. Only stayed one night, because that's all that was available for a bungalow when I was looking for our trip dates to Tayrona Park. I could have stay here for days. The remote location, the beach, and the limited number of accommodations/people make this truly a off-the-beaten-path special experience.

So glad we booked at Playa Brava! The hike was tough but so worth it. We were in the tent and I didn't realize it had a full sized bed, lights and a private bathroom. And the view of the ocean right in front is unbeatable. The staff were friendly and helpful and the food was good. Highly recommend this unique experience.

We loved how remote it was - really beautiful to hang out on the beach all day. The food we ate there was delicious and affordable. We rented a beach hut, and I like that each hut had a little shaded beach chair area in front of it. Bathrooms were super clean and shower had great water pressure. Advice to future visitors - Pack light! Of what I brought I really only used a swimsuit, quick-dry hiking outfit, and a beach cover up dress. Plan your hikes out and back to be before noon (when the sun is not as strong)
